Curriculum Membership - $199 per year

• Mini-modules of professional learning delivered straight to your inbox, twice a term
• Practical suggestions, actionable insights, all linked to the Australian Curriculum: Languages
• Each module will address how to teach and / or assess a specific aspect of Australian Curriculum: Languages.
• Modules will unpack content descriptions, the achievement standard, general capabilities and cross curricular priorities from V9.0 of the Australian Curriculum: Languages
• Suitable for primary and high school teachers
• No long recordings to catch up on. Each module will contain a 10-15 minute video, with accompanying notes and relevant tasks to complete.
•  Once a term there will be an online meetup where you can discuss your learnings and collaborate with other Languages teachers
• Everything will be delivered straight to your email inbox - no need to login to another platform.
•  Each module will have an explicit, actionable link to V9.0 of the Australian Curriculum

When will the program start?

Module 1 will be delivered at the start of Term 1.

You will receive two modules per term, so 8 across the year.

What if I’m in a state that doesn’t use the Australian Curriculum or I’m from another country?

The content will still be very relevant for you. Whilst states like NSW, Victoria and Western Australia don’t technically use the Australian Curriculum, it’s incredibly similar. Also, the themes and focusses of the Australian Curriculum can apply to language teaching in any context, in any country.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes, there will be a pre-recorded video with each module and four times a year there will be a live online event you can join, which will also be recorded and sent out to all participants.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, you will receive a certificate for the program at the end of the year. However, you can also request the certificates progressively throughout the year if you prefer.

What will I get out of this membership?

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Australian Curriculum: Languages in terms of teaching, learning and assessment. You will unpack content descriptions and achievement standards to create engaging, curriculum aligned learning experiences for your students. You will learn how to integrate cross curricular priorities and general capabilities in tangible ways in your Languages classroom. The throughline in all of this will be how to help more students love learning a language.
